Job Details

This full-time permanent position demands 30-40 hours per week with an hourly wage of $17.50, including potential overtime paid at time and a half. Night shifts may be scheduled with additional premium pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment to clean chinaware and glassware.
• Sort, wash, and properly store cutlery and pots.
• Use and store cleaning chemicals responsibly following safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of workspaces through sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Handle tableware carefully to minimize breakage.
• Assist with setting up event-specific equipment such as plate arrangements and chafing dishes.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Report any safety hazards promptly to minimize accidents.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods (6–10+ hours).
• Frequent walking between kitchen, dish area, and storage locations.
• Perform repetitive motions such as scrubbing and loading dishwashers.
• Lift and move heavy items including pots, pans, and loaded racks.
• Push and pull loaded carts and racks.
• Bend, twist, reach, including accessing overhead and low shelving.
• Work in hot and humid conditions due to industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Handle repeated exposure to water, detergents, and chemicals.
• Operate efficiently in a high-paced, high-volume environment, especially during peak dining or event times.
