About the Role

Casa Vero is preparing to launch a new Italian restaurant at Expo Village, Dubai, and is seeking a dependable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to join their pre-opening team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a spotless, safe, and well-organized kitchen environment essential for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools effectively.
• Ensure dishwashing stations and general kitchen areas remain clean and orderly at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, work surfaces, sinks, and back-of-house areas diligently.
• Handle kitchen waste properly, ensuring correct disposal methods are followed.
• Return cleaned equipment and utensils to their designated storage locations accurately.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, organizing, and storing kitchen stocks when required.
• Support the kitchen staff with routine tasks to promote operational efficiency.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Help uphold cleanliness protocols throughout service periods and during closing routines.
• Participate actively in pre-opening activities including cleaning, organizing, and setting up kitchen areas.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience as a Kitchen Steward, Dishwasher, or in a related hospitality role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Capacity to perform efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Physical fitness to meet the demands of a busy kitchen setting.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and a collaborative team player.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully.
