Role Overview

We are seeking a Director Warehouse (m/w/d) to join our team at the earliest opportunity in a full-time capacity. This leadership role involves comprehensive responsibility for multiple warehouse and special handling sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee overall operations of several warehouse and special handling departments.
Lead and develop multiple team and area managers.
Design and implement a sustainable warehouse strategy.
Manage and continuously improve processes based on Lean Management principles.
Ensure the highest quality, safety, and compliance standards are maintained.
Analyze operational metrics and derive appropriate improvement actions.
Be accountable for meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), costs, quality, and productivity targets.
Collaborate closely with internal departments and international stakeholders within a matrix organizational structure.
Direct cross-departmental projects and change initiatives.

Requirements

A degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field.
Several years of leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, air freight, or supply chain sectors.
Proven track record managing large organizational units across multiple leadership levels.
Documented successes in Lean Management, process optimization, and change management.
Strong proficiency with modern warehouse management systems such as SAP.
Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong communication skills and assertiveness.
Fluent German (business level) and English.
