About the Role
As Director of Regional Hub Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing service levels, cost efficiency, quality standards, and employee engagement within your area of responsibility. You will play a key role in ensuring standard operating procedures (SOP) compliance and participate in audits to identify gaps and implement prompt solutions. Collaboration with engineering, product, commercial, security, and fleet teams will be critical to enhance operational automation and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure delivery of service level agreements, cost control, quality assurance, and maintaining staff morale.
- Drive SOP adherence and actively take part in audits to detect and rectify operational gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, commercial, security, and fleet for process improvement and automation.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by monitoring and resolving client queries and grievances timely.
- Oversee employee safety and security measures, preventing any unlawful activities within the region.
- Develop succession plans and talent pipelines for the team, focusing on Senior Managers and below.
- Assess and close team capability gaps by designing and executing development plans.
- Create and maintain contingency plans for the area of responsibility.
- Lead and manage facility relocations, expansions, and implementation of sorting technologies.
- Provide training, mentorship, and coaching to Senior Managers and Managers.
- Benchmark against competitors' delivery solutions to introduce innovations and industry best practices.
- Manage HR-related objectives including diversity hiring, employee morale, and on-floor safety.
Qualifications and Skills
- 10 to 13 years of relevant experience in logistics or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong expertise in operations management, data analysis, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and people leadership abilities.
- Analytical mindset with strong prioritization and execution skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams and interact effectively with senior management.
- Minimum qualification: Any graduate.
