Director, M&A / Corporate Development

Position Summary

We are on the lookout for a seasoned M&A professional to spearhead the execution of strategic acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and divestments spanning a diverse regional portfolio. Reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer, this role involves close collaboration with business leaders to structure and successfully execute transactions aligned with the Group's long-term expansion plans.

Core Responsibilities

• Drive the full lifecycle of acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures, and divestment activities.
• Assess potential investment opportunities by developing thorough valuation models and recommending ideal transaction frameworks.
• Oversee financial, commercial, and legal due diligence by coordinating with internal parties and external consultants.
• Manage negotiations of commercial terms and transaction contracts until closing.
• Formulate value creation and integration strategies to facilitate effective post-acquisition outcomes.
• Collaborate with business leaders across different countries to implement strategic growth objectives.

Candidate Requirements

• Academic background in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• At least 12 to 15 years of professional experience within Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or Transaction Advisory services.
• Demonstrated success in leading and finalizing cross-border M&A deals.
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and structuring transactions.
• Proficient in handling complex negotiations and managing multiple stakeholder inputs.
• Preferred experience includes regional deal execution across Asia.
