Digital Workplace Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Digital Workplace Engineer to enhance and maintain modern workplace platforms and systems utilized by global teams. This position is based in Wellington, New Zealand and involves onsite contract employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incident response and manage change activities within Agile projects.
• Provide expert-level support for Desktop and Server Operating Systems, including deployment, Group Policy, Intune, Active Directory, and Entra ID management.
• Support and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure using Citrix technologies such as VDI, PVS, and ADC.
• Administer Azure Windows 365 Cloud PC environments.
• Deploy applications and system updates utilizing SCCM and Intune tools.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, support, and security divisions to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Extensive experience working within Microsoft desktop environments.
• Proficiency with Azure Cloud PC and virtual desktop environments.
• Strong skills in Group Policy and Intune administration.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Citrix VDI technologies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure administration.
• Hands-on administration experience with SCCM and Intune.
• Knowledge of certificate management.
• Exposure to Agile project methodologies.
