Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Digital Take-off Specialists with 5–10 years of expertise in construction estimation and quantity surveying, specifically for US commercial projects. Candidates should have strong proficiency with digital estimating tools and be capable of producing accurate material quantity estimates for various construction disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze architectural, structural, and construction drawings to determine project requirements and scope.
Conduct precise digital quantity take-offs using Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, or comparable software.
Interpret project specifications, bid documents, addenda, and related construction documentation for accurate material quantification.
Generate detailed quantity reports, take-off summaries, and proposal-ready estimating documents.
Collaborate directly with estimating, sales, and project teams to clarify project needs and resolve queries.
Update and revise take-offs based on feedback, design changes, and updated drawings.
Ensure all deliverables adhere to quality standards and meet strict project deadlines.
Maintain well-organized documentation, revision history, and estimating files for ongoing projects.
Identify discrepancies, missing details, and potential risks related to quantity estimations during review processes.
Contribute to proposal preparation, bid submissions, and pre-construction documentation efforts.
Manage multiple estimating projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Continuously enhance estimating methodologies, report quality, and turnaround times.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.
At least 5 years of practical experience in digital take-offs, construction estimation, or quantity surveying related to US commercial construction.
Expertise in digital estimating software such as Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, and On-Screen Takeoff.
Strong ability to interpret US construction drawings, specifications, bid documents, and addenda.
Solid understanding of commercial construction disciplines including roofing systems, metal decking, and insulation.
Experience working with US contractors, estimators, sales teams, or pre-construction departments is highly advantageous.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for detailed quantity summaries, cost calculations, and reporting.
Excellent analytical capabilities with acute attention to detail and precision in estimation.
Effective written communication skills for liaising with US-based teams.
Self-driven, capable of independently managing the entire take-off workflow with minimal supervision.
