Role Overview
The Delivery Executive at MedPlus Pharmacy will ensure the prompt and safe delivery of medicines and healthcare items to customers, while providing excellent customer service. This position involves managing cash and electronic payments, accurately maintaining delivery logs, and careful handling of pharmaceutical goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute delivery of prescribed medicines and pharmacy products accurately and promptly as per orders assigned.
- Ensure compliance with safety and traffic regulations during delivery rides.
- Handle multiple payment methods including cash, UPI, card, and online payments, providing receipts when requested.
- Safeguard the condition of medicines during transit to prevent damage or spoilage.
- Verify recipient and order details before handing over products.
- Maintain thorough daily records of deliveries and update statuses accordingly.
- Provide occasional support to store operations when necessary.
- Return any undelivered shipments and submit the collected payments at shift completion.
Requirements and Eligibility
- Completion of 10th or 12th grade.
- Valid driver's license for two-wheelers.
- Possession of a personal bike or scooter is preferred.
- Basic familiarity with local routes and navigation tools.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Fresh candidates are welcome; prior experience in delivery roles is beneficial.
