Role Overview and Responsibilities

The role involves hands-on work with implementing or managing Focus-aligned schemas 11 and 13. A key responsibility includes analyzing schema evolution to ensure compatibility and understanding its effects on downstream consumers. The candidate will need to oversee data architecture lineage thoroughly, demonstrating the ability to document field-level lineage and trace data origins precisely. Mapping raw telemetry into normalized, analytics-ready schemas is a crucial aspect of this position. Familiarity with structured data modeling practices commonly applied in enterprise data platforms is necessary.

In addition to technical duties, the candidate should be capable of managing governance and communicating effectively as a standards owner and control authority, rather than solely contributing. Collaboration across engineering, financial operations, and architecture teams is essential.
