Cybersecurity Engineer

Role overview

Barracuda Networks is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer in Bengaluru to assess and strengthen the security of web applications through hands-on testing and remediation support.

What you'll do

• Perform penetration tests and vulnerability reviews on web applications to uncover security weaknesses.
• Write and run tailored automation scripts in Python, Ruby, or similar languages to speed up testing workflows.
• Work with engineering teams to help close security gaps by applying patches and corrective fixes discovered during testing.
• Review assessment outcomes, prepare clear findings reports, and suggest practical steps to improve application security.

What we're looking for

• Prior experience of 4 to 8 years in cybersecurity or a closely related area.
• A solid grasp of penetration testing approaches, tools, and standard methodologies.
• Ability to program in at least one language, such as Python, for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management solutions like Nessus or Tenable.

Compensation

The role offers an annual salary range of INR 15,00,000 to INR 30,00,000.
