About Peninsula Plus
Peninsula Plus offers an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and inspiring team based on the Mornington Peninsula with clinics in Mornington and Frankston. Our diverse team includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Psychotherapists, Allied Health Assistants, Specialists, and a dedicated customer service team of 10 members. This multi-disciplinary setting provides an enriching professional environment with a supportive culture.
Role Overview
The Customer Service team facilitates dynamic communication and the organisation of support systems that enable therapists to focus on delivering excellent care to clients and ensuring a smooth client experience. As the first point of contact, team members embody the face of Peninsula Plus. We are seeking a warm, friendly, and personable professional who excels at multitasking, organisation, and prioritisation, capable of juggling competing deadlines while maintaining approachability with clients, especially children.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Demonstrate excellent communication through professional, confident, and effective interactions with clients, referrers, and colleagues.
- Work efficiently within a collaborative team environment and engage politely and professionally with a diverse group of people.
- Display advanced ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, manage pressure, organise workflows, and be accountable for outcomes.
- Possess knowledge and experience with Medicare claiming procedures and related supporting hardware and software systems.
- Show proficiency in IT and computer skills, particularly in practice management software, adapting to a largely paper-free work environment.
- Have experience in medical reception or a similar role.
Successful candidates must hold a current Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
