Since August 2022, VicRoads has partnered with key entities to deliver registration and licensing services, collaborating closely with the Victorian State Government which retains responsibilities for road infrastructure and safety.
Role Overview
Working within the Registration and Licensing division, you will be part of a team of over 800 professionals committed to road safety by delivering excellent customer service and expert advice. This position is primarily based at the Heatherton Customer Service Centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide registration and licensing services tailored to customer needs through multiple channels including face-to-face, telephone, and written communication, adhering to policies and procedures in a respectful, timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve customer inquiries promptly following established guidelines; manage complaints effectively and escalate when necessary.
- Apply judgment to recommend enhancements to customer service processes and participate in organizational change efforts.
- Collaborate as a productive team member to meet performance goals and support team activities.
- Offer guidance and assistance to less experienced colleagues as needed.
- Act as the initial point of contact for customers, offering support and navigation assistance with digital platforms.
