Role Details
As a Customer Field Technician based in Townsville, you will independently perform a range of tasks involving various telecommunications technologies. This includes installations, repairs, maintenance, and providing support to residential or business customers. Daily activities may involve installing copper or fibre optic cabling, setting up customer devices, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring customers are well-informed and supported throughout the process.
Work hours typically fall between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM with flexibility as needed. Comprehensive training, all necessary tools, and continual support will be provided to ensure your success in this position.
Safety is paramount in all aspects of the job, including equipment handling, working at customer premises, and technical operations. You will be expected to consistently apply safe working practices and comply with company safety standards.
