About Crown Counsel Positions
Crown Law is inviting applications from seasoned lawyers with 7 to 10 years of post-qualification experience for Crown Counsel roles located in Auckland and Wellington. These positions are situated within the Attorney-General and Crown Legal Risk teams, focusing on Treaty of Waitangi and Public Law matters.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
As a Crown Counsel, you will be entrusted with the management of litigation cases either as the principal counsel or collaborating within a legal team. Your role will extend to providing well-informed advice to Ministers and senior government officials, overseeing client relationships, and contributing to the guidance and growth of junior legal staff. The positions encourage cooperative work across various teams within the organisation.
