Role Overview

We seek credentialed tutors and instructors across the United States, with preference for Florida-based candidates. The position is fully remote and entails delivering expert tutoring or instruction in diverse subjects including but not limited to elementary education (K–6), literacy, mathematics at various levels (pre-algebra through geometry), English Language Arts, science, standardized test prep (SAT/ACT), study skills, special education (ESE), STEM and digital literacy, career readiness, and other future-focused skills.

Contracted educators will conduct live virtual sessions, prepare and refresh instructional materials, and provide individualized or small-group support. Duties include assessing student needs, monitoring and documenting progress, giving constructive feedback, adapting teaching methods to suit varied learning styles, managing scheduling and session records within the platform, collaborating with EduQuencher's curriculum team, and innovating new course ideas aligned to learner demand.

Qualifications and Credentials

• Applicants should demonstrate subject expertise relevant to the chosen instructional area.
• Acceptable qualifications include a valid Florida or other US state teaching certificate, adjunct credentials, eligibility statements, subject-area exams, national certifications (e.g., NBPTS, ABCTE), or specialized training (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson).
• A bachelor's or graduate degree in the tutoring subject area is also recognized.
• Effective teaching skills, including lesson planning, standards alignment, and customization for diverse learners, are essential.
• Comfort with online teaching technology such as video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and interactive tools is required.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, along with the ability to provide actionable feedback, are critical.
• Prior experience in tutoring, classroom teaching, corporate training, or higher education is necessary.
• The ability to independently manage flexible work schedules and maintain professionalism in a remote setup is required.
• A commitment to inclusive, learner-centered educational practices is expected.

Compensation and Work Environment

This role offers competitive hourly remuneration typically ranging from $40 to $60+ per hour, influenced by factors such as credentials, specialization, experience, and learner demand. Compensation is paid per completed session with no minimum hour requirements, allowing tutors to tailor their availability and gradually expand their student base.
