Education and Experience

Responsibilities

• Determine portion sizes and food costs to maintain budget control.
• Plan menus and estimate necessary food supplies.
• Order food, kitchen supplies, and equipment while managing inventory accurately.
• Prepare and cook full meals or individual dishes ensuring quality and presentation.
• Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment usage.
• Manage overall kitchen operations efficiently.
