Role Overview
As a Consultant in Audit, you will deeply engage in the diverse and evolving field of financial statement audits. Our team supports companies of various sizes, providing comprehensive advice and guidance. Together, we aim for success and impactful contributions in Audit & Assurance – Audit Industry.
This role is available at numerous locations including Berlin, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt (Main), Hannover, Köln, Leipzig, Magdeburg, Mannheim, München, Nürnberg, and Stuttgart.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent audits of annual and consolidated financial statements prepared under HGB, IFRS, or US GAAP standards.
- Gain thorough understanding of clients’ processes and internal control systems through a risk-oriented audit approach.
- Assist clients with implementing new accounting standards, auditing sustainability reports, and developing innovative solutions to complex regulatory requirements.
- Utilize cutting-edge digital audit tools during audits of domestic and international organizations.
- Collaborate across disciplines including Tax & Legal, Consulting, and Corporate Finance divisions to achieve collective success.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, (Business) Mathematics, (Business) Informatics, or related disciplines with focus areas such as accounting, auditing, taxation, or controlling.
- Strong knowledge of national or international accounting principles.
- Practical experience gained through internships abroad or in Germany, or through relevant vocational training is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork capabilities, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Fluent German and English language skills at negotiation level.
