Job Overview and Responsibilities

As a Compliance Officer supporting the Compliance Manager within the ECF unit, the candidate will ensure adherence to the bank's AML/KYC procedures and regulatory mandates. The role demands continuous monitoring and understanding of regulations set forth by the UAE Central Bank. The Compliance Officer must collaborate with various business units, offering compliant and practical solutions to regulatory requirements, and intervening when necessary to prevent non-compliant transactions, processes, or proposals. Additionally, the officer will aid the Compliance Manager in executing compliance strategies within the RBG sector as directed by headquarters.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A graduate with 3 to 4 years of banking experience specializing in KYC/EDD processes.
• Prior experience reviewing KYC/EDD for Wealth Banking clientele is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and a strong command of written and spoken English are essential.
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks is considered advantageous.
• Competent in presentation delivery and Excel usage.
• Possesses a logical, efficient problem-solving approach.
• Demonstrates sound decision-making capabilities.
