Role Overview

Shangri-La Dubai is presented as a refined city sanctuary where contemporary energy blends with classic hospitality, set against views of Burj Khalifa and Dubai's skyline. In this position, you will support the pastry kitchen and help produce memorable desserts and sweet items that align with the Shangri-La approach.

What You'll Do

• Support the day-to-day production and operations of the pastry section.
• Ensure food preparation and service consistently meet the hotel's established quality standards.
• Contribute work that reflects creativity and the Shangri-La service philosophy.
• Apply solid knowledge of pastry methods and menu offerings.
• Follow the hotel's hygiene and sanitation requirements at all times.

About You

• You hold a Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, or an equivalent qualification.
• You have prior experience in a bakery or pastry section, preferably in a restaurant or a 5-star hotel.
• You bring enthusiasm for food and beverage work, along with creativity and careful attention to detail.
• You can communicate clearly in English.
• You are keen to learn new culinary trends and techniques.
