Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Commercial Data Analyst to support our International Operations Department at Oldbury, B69 4DA. Reporting to the International Commercial Finance Manager, this role involves detailed commercial and operational data analysis to drive insights and improvements across the international service portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve service performance problems through root cause analysis and coordination with departments to enhance DPD Classic services.
• Ensure operational procedures reflect the evolving international products and are strictly followed.
• Analyze trends concerning escalations in DPD Classic service quality and compliance; generate reports recommending corrective actions.
• Communicate operational procedure changes impacting delivery services to stakeholders and customers.
• Present data and insights to international clients, senior management, and internal teams as necessary.
• Participate in projects and working groups to improve the international service offering.
• Advise on customer experience enhancements for the DPD Classic service.
• Monitor vehicle capacity and utilization daily to optimize operational planning.
• Collaborate with the Road Service Team and other stakeholders to identify trends for achieving key performance indicators.
• Provide timely commercial and analytical support for management reporting and decision-making.
• Review supplier commercial rates quarterly to identify savings opportunities.
• Lead the preparation of budget and cost analyses, including customer contribution reporting and forecasting.
• Recommend strategies to reduce time spent on transactional tasks.
• Analyze data to uncover cost-saving measures and operational improvements, coordinating across teams.
• Develop accurate costings and pricing for bespoke commercial services.
• Generate innovative reports and analyses aimed at revenue generation, cost savings, or service improvements.
• Network across departments to deepen understanding of commercial operations impacts.
• Collaborate with other analysts on joint projects to enhance organizational insights.
• Assist with margin reconciliations and pricing bespoke operational solutions.
• Produce ad hoc financial analyses to support operational decisions.

• Contract: Permanent, full time
• Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

• Salary: a337,544.16 per annum
