Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview

The subsidiary company SOOR is searching for a Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer to oversee and maintain enterprise applications hosting setups. The goal is to ensure these environments are highly available, secure, performant, and well-supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertise managing IIS, Windows Servers, SQL Server, and hosting applications.
• Hands-on administration and troubleshooting of IIS and SQL Servers.
• Providing robust support for web and production application environments.
• Troubleshooting problems at different layers: network, security, application, and databases.
• Strong familiarity with Windows Server environments, networking fundamentals, web hosting solutions, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Managing SSL certificates, IIS security settings, authentication processes, and access control configurations.
• Experience with change and incident management processes along with root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of Apache, Tomcat servers, Java-based apps, APIs, load balancing techniques, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) implementations.
• Implementing backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and conducting recovery testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to collaborate with diverse technical teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or closely related disciplines.
• At least five years’ experience in a similar hands-on infrastructure engineering role.
• Demonstrated success working on comparable projects or environments.
