Role Overview

This position involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team, assisting registered nurses by carrying out care duties for patients, often unsupervised. The role combines clinical support with administrative tasks, focusing on maintaining hygiene, order, and safety within the ward environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform assigned duties to support direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
• Engage in continuous personal development tailored to individual or service needs.
• Participate actively in career development planning through relevant training and education.
• Maintain awareness of applicable National and Local Policies, legislation, and procedures.

Candidate Profile

• Possess an SVQ III in healthcare or be working towards it, or have comparable experience within a caring environment or role.
• Demonstrate ability to collaborate with people and work effectively within multidisciplinary or agency teams.
• Exhibit strong written and oral communication capabilities.
• Effectively perform assigned patient care tasks within a busy clinical setting.
• Be capable of working independently without supervision.
