Job Overview

Join our team as a Clinical Sales Specialist based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, working onsite to drive the growth and adoption of advanced patient monitoring technologies. You will collaborate closely with the Area Manager to develop business strategies, cultivate trusted client relationships, and contribute to achieving significant company revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Area Manager to formulate business plans aimed at meeting revenue objectives.
  • Assess competitive market conditions and industry trends to inform effective sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong, dependable relationships with major key accounts.
  • Address and resolve significant client concerns and complaints promptly.
  • Gain comprehensive insight into key clients' needs and anticipate changes or improvements.
  • Coordinate communication between clients and internal teams, managing account teams dedicated to each client.
  • Negotiate client contracts and establish timelines ensuring performance milestones are met.
  • Analyze client data to enhance customer relationship management initiatives.
  • Expand clientele and deepen existing client engagement within the assigned territory.
  • Drive clinical and sales targets across all Masimo product lines, consistently achieving quotas and increasing installed base.
  • Lead account selling activities including qualification, demonstrations, clinical evaluations, and closures, working alongside Area Business and Country Managers.
  • Serve as a clinical expert in pulse oximetry, pulse CO-oximetry, brain function monitoring, regional oximetry, and capnography technology.
  • Position Masimo SET, Masimo Rainbow, and the ROOT innovation platform as essential patient monitoring solutions in various clinical settings.
  • Collaborate with OEM sales teams to provide clinical education supporting whole-house client conversions.
  • Persuade customers using multiparameter monitors (e.g., GE, Philips, Dräger, Spacelabs) to upgrade to Masimo technologies securing long-term contracts.
  • Establish and sustain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical departments to integrate Masimo innovations into academic and clinical protocols.
  • Participate in marketing and awareness programs such as trade shows and regional symposiums.
  • Provide clinical market feedback on trends, competition, product design, regulatory matters, and production to regional and distribution management.
  • Engage in administrative, tender, and educational activities for both public and private sector healthcare opportunities.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to maintain detailed records of all customer and field interactions.
  • Consistently exceed sales and clinical objectives while adhering to budgeted expenses for related activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with a medical or clinical focus is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in critical care environments, including NICU, PICU, operating rooms, and emergency medical systems; neonatal and pediatric experience is highly favorable.
  • Demonstrated success in medical device sales, especially involving patient monitoring systems, is highly valued.
  • Skilled at effectively communicating value-based solutions and training in competitive and strategy-driven healthcare markets.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written skills, capable of leading impactful group presentations.
  • Motivated results-driven professional with a proactive 'can-do' approach and urgency to complete tasks.
  • Experience working with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and distributor sales teams.
  • Comfortable interacting with C-level executives and presenting in high-profile situations.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on individual able to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Advanced proficiency in software tools, presentation delivery, and project management techniques.
  • Adaptable to both large structured organizations and smaller startup-like environments.
  • Sales experience in fiercely competitive and strategy-sensitive markets, with willingness and ability to travel as needed.
