About the Role

We seek a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to service residential rental properties, performing various cleaning duties such as move-in/move-out cleans, rental turnover, and preparing properties for readiness. This position supports property owners, tenants, and internal teams by ensuring cleanliness and readiness through inspections, maintenance coordination, and property access.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit residential rental units to carry out cleaning appointments including move-in/move-out and turnover cleans.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, and appliances.
• Remove dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and leftover items as needed.
• Wipe down various surfaces such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and high-touch areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop flooring throughout the property.
• Clean inside appliances including refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers.
• Identify and report areas requiring extra cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or further follow-up.
• Capture clear before-and-after photos and videos documenting cleaning work.
• Submit detailed updates, notes, and media after each visit.
• Communicate professionally with property owners, tenants, prospective tenants, and team members.
• Adhere strictly to company instructions, cleaning checklists, access guidelines, and appointment details.

Additional Typical Duties

• Deep cleaning
• Garbage removal and light debris cleanup
• Cleaning at window sills, cabinets, drawers, and baseboards
• Preparing properties for photos, showings, inspections, and move-ins

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning roles such as housekeeper, cleaner, or cleaning contractor.
• Well-versed in residential cleaning standards and practices.
• Possess reliable transportation to travel between properties.
• Own necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for appointments.
• Comfortable independently attending rental properties.
• Possess a smartphone equivalent to iPhone 13 or better with a quality camera to document work.
• Able to take clear photographs and videos of the properties and completed cleaning tasks.
• Capable of writing clear notes and submitting updates after each job.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Professional, punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, and respectful in communication.
• Able to follow company checklists, instructions, and property access protocols accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically in move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning scenarios.
• Familiarity with cleaning residential rentals prior to photos, inspections, or tenant move-in.
• Skills in identifying damages, maintenance issues, junk removal needs, pest problems, access challenges, or safety concerns.
• Experience working independently in field roles within property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services sectors.

The primary focus is on cleaning and property readiness. While performing cleaning duties, any noticed damages, maintenance needs, junk removal requirements, pest issues, access problems, or unsafe situations must be reported promptly to the appropriate team for resolution.
