Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable and diligent Hygiene Operative / Cleaner to join our team at our food manufacturing site in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. This position offers a stable career path in a well-established company that values development and long-term growth. The role is vital in ensuring top-level cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout our manufacturing processes.
Working Hours
This is a part-time role with shifts from Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Shift options include either 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm.
Key Duties
- Ensure rigorous cleanliness and hygiene across production and support areas.
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing of production machines, equipment, workstations, and shared spaces.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, food safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Utilize cleaning tools and chemicals safely and as per company standards.
- Accurately complete cleaning rosters and related documentation.
- Assist other departments to facilitate operational demands when needed.
- Report any issues related to hygiene, safety, or maintenance promptly.
- Help maintain a safe and hygienic environment for all staff members.
