Civil with Interior Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a proficient Civil Project Manager specializing in interior projects. The role involves comprehensive planning, coordination, and successful delivery of interior design and execution projects that meet timelines, budget constraints, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop complete project plans from design development through to final handover.
• Create and maintain project schedules, setting timelines, milestones, and execution workflows.
• Oversee multiple simultaneous tasks ensuring seamless project progression.
• Engage and communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and manage project scope.
• Lead client meetings regularly to provide progress reports and manage feedback or changes.
• Collaborate with interior designers, architects, consultants, and contractors to review drawings, layouts, BOQs, and specifications ensuring feasibility for site execution.
• Supervise daily site operations covering civil works, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, false ceilings, flooring, painting, and furniture installations.
• Ensure all work adheres strictly to approved plans and quality standards.
• Manage vendor and contractor selection, coordination, and performance monitoring.
• Track material deliveries and ensure timely arrival at the site.
• Prepare and oversee project budgets while controlling costs to avoid overruns.
• Verify contractor bills, quotations, and necessary variations or purchases.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and enforce corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor project progress, anticipate delays or risks, and take corrective measures to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate and lead work teams including designers, engineers, supervisors, and contractors.
• Maintain adherence to site safety regulations and compliance with relevant building codes.
• Manage project documentation including drawings, approvals, orders, and reports on a routine basis.
• Lead final project handover processes, snagging, defect rectification, client inspections, and obtain final sign-offs.
