Role Overview

This fractional Chief Operating Officer role is pivotal in bridging the founder's vision with on-the-ground execution, enabling ILLEX to progress swiftly without the founder’s direct management of operational details.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead creator outreach efforts targeting podcasters and content creators, managing prospect qualification workflows, maintaining databases using tools like Notion or Airtable, and driving outreach campaigns from initial contact through to signed agreements.
• Monitor weekly response rates, conversion metrics, and overall health of the outreach pipeline.
• Coordinate platform launches by managing interactions between the technology team, the acting Chief Financial Officer, and any vendors or partners, maintaining internal timelines, identifying blockers early, and ensuring all workstreams remain on schedule independently.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners, including API providers, platform tools, legal coordination with the FCFO, and contractors.
• Translate the founder's strategic vision into actionable weekly priorities, quarterly objectives, and team tasks, attending critical decision-making meetings, recording action items, and driving accountability throughout operations.

Compensation and Progression

The position begins as a fractional role with compensation at approximately half of the usual range ($60,000 to $70,000 annually) in the first year. As the role transitions to full-time, salary will increase negotiably with added equity options.
