Chief Engineer (Tanker)

About the Role

Squadron Shipping Solutions LLP is urgently seeking a Chief Engineer for a tanker vessel operating in Oman. Candidates must possess relevant tanker experience and hold valid certifications in marine engineering. This role demands immediate availability and strong communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Operate and maintain tanker vessel machinery, specifically MAK main engines and Caterpillar auxiliary engines.
• Hold a Marine Engineering Degree or Diploma coupled with a valid Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (COC).
• Ensure safety and efficiency of engine operations aboard a vessel with a gross registered tonnage (GRT) of 6,500.
• Communicate effectively in English and be prepared to join immediately at the location in Oman.

Additional Information

• Salary offered ranges from USD 5,000 to USD 5,500 per month.
