Role Overview
The Chat & Community Support Specialist will provide prompt, understanding support to users via live chat and community channels. This role is vital in assisting users with inquiries about offers, account-related issues, and navigating the platform, helping ensure a positive user experience while furthering the mission to connect people with alternative earning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle live chat requests efficiently, meeting service level targets.
- Oversee and respond to user posts in community spaces including Discord, Facebook groups, and social comments.
- Address frequent concerns such as questions on offers, account troubles, and platform navigation help.
- Escalate complex or sensitive issues to relevant teams with detailed records.
- Assist in updating and maintaining the help center's knowledge base.
- Detect and communicate recurring user feedback trends to product and content teams.
- Ensure consistent tone and quality throughout all customer interactions.
Qualifications and Skills
- No formal degree required.
- Capable of typing quickly and accurately.
- Strong written communication skills marked by clarity and empathy.
- Ability to manage multiple conversations simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Patience and expertise in calming frustrated users.
- Experience with support/chat software such as Intercom, Zendesk, or Crisp is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage ranging between $15 and $21.
