Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome all customers with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently and accurately handle all purchase transactions, including deactivating items under the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) system.
• Actively promote Walmart's partner programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable efforts.
• Assist customers with bagging their purchases and loading their merchandise.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Safeguard the register's security by managing cash responsibly, respecting company policies, and staying alert to surroundings.
• When necessary, direct appropriate service or transactional issues to the Customer Service Manager.

Compensation

The starting wage for this role is $16.15 per hour.
