Position Overview

Take on the role of a Cashier at Walmart Canada to enhance your experience in the retail sector by delivering outstanding customer service at the point of sale. This role emphasizes protecting company assets diligently and engaging customers positively.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer warmly and courteously.
• Conduct prompt and accurate checkout transactions, including deactivation of items according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Program.
• Inform customers about company-sponsored promotions such as credit card services, product insurance, and charitable contributions.
• Support customers by assisting with bagging and loading purchases.
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times, including safe lifting practices and maintaining a tidy workspace.
• Ensure security of the cash register by carefully managing cash and complying with company guidelines while remaining alert to the surroundings.
• Direct customer service or transactional inquiries to the Customer Service Manager when needed.

Compensation

The starting pay rate for this position is $16.50 per hour.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
