Programme Overview

RWE Supply & Trading Asia-Pacific is inviting applications for its two-year Business Transformation & Strategy Graduate Programme commencing September 2027 in Singapore. This structured programme includes four six-month rotations designed to provide comprehensive experience across key business areas. Participants will start their first rotation in Singapore and have opportunities to complete subsequent rotations either elsewhere within the APAC region or internationally, including Germany, the USA, and the UK. Successful graduates will be well positioned for permanent roles within RWE's global corporate teams following completion.

Key Responsibilities

Participants will actively contribute to RWE's expansion into new markets and locations by gaining thorough insight into global business operations and linking various parts of the value chain. Daily activities and project involvement will cover diverse areas including project management, strategic planning, corporate communications and events, business transformation initiatives, sustainability efforts, risk management, new business implementation, compliance monitoring, and back-office support functions.

Candidate Profile and Eligibility

This programme targets ambitious, inquisitive graduates eager to develop analytical and commercial skills across multiple corporate functions. Eligible applicants should hold a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Economics, Finance, Management, or related business disciplines. Prospective candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills capable of translating complex information into clear, business-oriented recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and confidence in engaging cross-functionally are essential. Applicants should demonstrate curiosity, initiative, ownership, high-quality work delivery, and integrity.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams is required, with confidence in leveraging digital tools for reporting, analysis, project delivery, and communication. Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and a responsible approach to using this technology in alignment with company policy is expected. Flexibility to work across various teams and potentially different international locations, along with an inclusive attitude, is necessary. Experience with Power BI, data visualization, workflow automation, or collaboration platforms will be advantageous.
