Business Analyst

Role Overview

As a Business Analyst within MSR Technology Group, based in Toronto, you will play a key role in supporting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) initiatives by gathering and analyzing requirements across business, functional, and data domains. You will conduct impact assessments and collaborate with various teams to enhance AML compliance and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and meticulously document business, functional, and data needs related to AML projects.
• Perform impact assessment analyses covering data, system, regulatory, and process modifications.
• Create and update source-to-target mappings, document data lineage, data flow diagrams, and business rules.
• Work closely with the AML Compliance, AML Operations, Technology, Data Engineering, and Regulatory Reporting teams to ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Support improvements connected to Name Screening (ACRM), Customer Risk Rating (CRR), Transaction Monitoring (TM), and FINTRAC regulatory reporting.
• Analyze data requirements for customer profiles, accounts, relationships, transactions, and Know Your Customer (KYC) information.
