Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst to lead a new initiative focused on upgrading our debt platform. This critical role involves collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to define comprehensive business and technical requirements and to oversee the platform’s development through to its deployment. The position requires a keen alignment with the specific demands of the capital markets and agricultural finance sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage closely with internal teams and external parties such as system banks and investors to collect and clarify requirements.
• Create and manage the product roadmap ensuring it supports strategic business objectives and user expectations.
• Convert business needs into detailed functional specifications and supervise engineering teams to ensure delivery accuracy.
• Lead the development of test cases and acceptance criteria to uphold high-quality standards throughout the project.
• Facilitate collaboration among development, quality assurance, finance, and other functional teams to guarantee successful platform implementation.
• Keep abreast of capital market trends, particularly in debt issuance, to inform and guide product development efforts.
• Prioritize user experience by making the platform user-friendly for both internal users and investor communities.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5-10 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably within the finance domain with emphasis on capital markets.
• Possession of a graduate degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or comparable field.
• Knowledge of financial platforms and proven experience in managing large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Advantageous to have experience with debt issuance and broader financial services.
