Business Analyst - Core Banking Transformation (Operations SME)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst specializing in retail and corporate banking operations to join a key Core Banking transformation initiative. Located in Doha, Qatar, this full-time onsite role focuses on supporting Temenos T24 transformation programs within the banking domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) for retail and corporate banking, facilitating the T24 transformation across back-office functions.
• Lead requirements elicitation, preparation of Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), manage project scope, and coordinate with vendors.
• Design the target operating model (TOM), perform detailed process mapping, and define business rules for streamlined banking operations.
• Support data-related activities including migration, cleansing, mapping, and balance reconciliation.
• Oversee testing phases including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), lead defect triage sessions, and validate requirements.
• Drive change management efforts through the development of training materials such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and ensure operational readiness.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimally 11 years of professional experience in Temenos Core Banking transformation projects as a client-facing Business Analyst or Operations SME.
• In-depth expertise with Middle East retail and corporate Islamic banking products including accounts, deposits, financing, and payments.
• Certified Temenos consultant with over 5 years’ experience in implementing Islamic AA and T24 Transact Processing Hub (TPH) modules.
