Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a Haystack partner for a Business Analyst position based in Münster, Germany. This role focuses on administering text systems and modules, modifying and integrating text content into automated business workflows, and maintaining system configurations. Collaboration with developers and various departments is essential, as is supporting process optimization in text administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer text systems and their associated modules.
• Create, update, and incorporate text content within module documents into automated business procedures.
• Develop methods to acquire data for text modules effectively.
• Maintain and adjust system settings and parameters following detailed specifications.
• Engage in testing phases and support release activities related to text modules.
• Design and document comprehensive test cases for these modules.
• Conduct testing of new or updated text modules within designated test environments and document findings.
• Collaborate closely on projects and further development initiatives.
• Assist in designing and improving text administration processes.
• Coordinate efforts with development teams and other departments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in the insurance sector or handling customer correspondence is beneficial.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or Java.
• Experience working with text module or document template systems, like Papyrus/ISIS, Output-Management, or Office-based systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with development tools including XPath, Jira, or Confluence.
• Ability to interpret data structures, especially those represented in XML, is an advantage.
• Strong grasp of data architectures, business rules, and process flows.
• Fluent communication skills in German, both written and oral.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
