BIM Engineer

Role Overview

The key responsibility involves developing BIM content and production documents to support BIM-driven project delivery. This role demands proficiency in Mechanical & Electrical 3D modeling, with knowledge in Civil & Structural and Architectural trades seen as beneficial.

Key Duties

• Create BIM model outputs that serve design, documentation, and fabrication needs.
• Develop BIM documentation and corresponding shop drawings directly from models.
• Analyze engineering drawings and consultant RFIs to ensure design accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members for the creation of shop drawings.
• Design and generate 2D BIM content (families).
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness in delivering BIM models.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess Higher Nitec in Architectural Technology, Structural Engineering, or a Diploma in Engineering or BIM.
• At least 2 years of hands-on BIM experience, preferably with a top-tier main contractor or consultancy, demonstrating independent capability.
• Strong command of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written communications.
• Adaptable, flexible, capable of teamwork as well as independent work.
• Experience with infrastructure projects is advantageous.
