Billing Executive

Role Overview

This position involves managing and preparing billing invoices related to warehouse services including storage, handling, and transportation charges. The role requires verifying stock records, coordinating dispatch with logistics, and ensuring accurate billing within stipulated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Create invoices based on warehouse operations and service costs.
• Validate inward and outward stock documentation prior to invoicing.
• Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to verify shipment details.
• Maintain precision and timeliness in billing and documentation.
• Manage and keep records of invoices and billing paperwork.
• Address and resolve any billing issues by liaising with customers and internal teams.
• Generate billing reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Track due invoices and pursue necessary approvals.
• Adhere to company policies, customer agreements, and tax regulations such as GST.
• Assist audit processes by supplying required billing documents and reports.

Qualifications and Skills

• Understanding of warehouse processes and inventory management.
• Familiarity with invoice preparation and billing routines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and accurate data entry capabilities.
• Effective communication and team coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and high accuracy standards.
• Preferred educational background: Bachelor's in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, or related discipline.
• Experience range: Entry-level to 1 year in warehouse billing, logistics, or accounting; freshers eligible for junior roles.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or accounting software considered a plus.
