About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Barista to join our team at CH&CO on a full-time basis with a contracted schedule of 37.5 hours each week. The successful candidate will use their expertise to craft high-quality coffee beverages and provide exceptional customer service. Typical work schedule involves working five days out of seven. The position is contracted for 45.6 weeks annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare expertly blended beverages and serve high-quality food to satisfy customers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station
• Process payments accurately, including cash and card transactions
• Collaborate effectively as a team member and communicate clearly
• Manage inventory of clean mugs and plates efficiently
• Learn and apply knowledge of brewing techniques, beverage recipes, food prep, and presentation skills
• Ensure brewing equipment is functioning correctly and report maintenance issues
• Represent CH&CO positively, upholding the brand’s image
• Adhere strictly to Food Handling and Hygiene standards
• Follow Health and Safety regulations consistently

• Strong communication skills with ability to build rapport easily
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Highly motivated and committed to delivering excellence

• Practical experience in operating brewing equipment
• Capable of managing work pressure effectively
• Dependable with excellent punctuality and reliability
