Back End Developer

Overview

We seek a skilled Backend Developer to architect, build, and maintain dependable and scalable backend systems. This role involves creating APIs, managing data workflows, and optimizing system performance and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and support backend services and API endpoints.
• Construct scalable and efficient backend architectures ensuring system reliability.
• Work closely with frontend engineers, product teams, and other collaborators.
• Enhance database query performance and overall system effectiveness.
• Produce clean, well-documented, and maintainable codebase.
• Apply best practices for security and data protection.
• Diagnose and resolve issues, as well as update existing systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in backend software development.
• Strong command of at least one backend programming language such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Knowledgeable in database technologies, including SQL and/or NoSQL systems.
• Solid understanding of system design concepts, scalability solutions, and optimization techniques.
• Experience using version control tools like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience using container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of microservices-based architectures.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment workflows (CI/CD).
• Exposure to DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Experience working with AI/ML systems or related data pipelines.
