Role overview
Auto Shoppe Ranfurly is a long-running, family-owned automotive business with more than 30 years behind it. The company operates as a Toyota Parts and Service Centre as well as a Husqvarna sales and service dealer, and it is looking for an Automotive Technician to join its busy, friendly, professional crew in Ranfurly.
This position is suited to someone who is already qualified or nearly qualified and wants the chance to build further experience in a rural setting, using dealership-level systems, information, and tools. The workshop offers a relaxed environment with strong support, excellent working conditions, and stable long-term employment.
What the job involves

Key requirements
The successful applicant should hold an Automotive Trade Qualification at NZQA Level 4 or an equivalent qualification, or be close to completing one. A strong mechanical mindset, good attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to safety, quality, and ongoing improvement are essential. You will also need to be dependable, punctual, proud of your work, able to work on your own when needed, and comfortable collaborating with others.
A valid New Zealand driver licence and the legal right to work in New Zealand are required.
What is on offer
The employer offers a competitive hourly rate that will reflect your experience, a full-time permanent role, access to a modern workshop with quality equipment, and ongoing training and professional development. Relocation support is available for the right person, and there is also the potential to move into ownership in the future for someone who is the right fit.
An immediate start is available for the right applicant.
