Auditor - Gold Loan

Job Purpose

The primary responsibility is to ensure that audits conducted at bank branches are completed within the defined turnaround time (TAT) and adhere to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate gold loans through standardized valuation methods.
• Conduct thorough assessments to verify the purity of collateral using all necessary techniques.
• Ensure audits at branches meet the specified timelines and quality parameters.
• Implement systematic monthly assessments to review gold stock held at branches.
• Verify past audit reports, ensure compliance, and report any discrepancies or non-compliances.
• Perform security checks during audits, including confirming the operational status of burglary alarms, CCTV cameras, and weighing scales, and verify adherence to branch security protocols.
• Be willing to travel to different states or locations to conduct audits or fulfill related duties.
• Conduct training sessions for branch staff on gold loan valuation to increase their knowledge and awareness.
• Maintain integrity with transparent dealings, avoiding any direct or indirect conflicts of interest in transactions.
• Safeguard the company assets provided to execute job functions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Exemplify a positive work ethic to achieve results within demanding deadlines and challenging situations.
• Be prepared to work extensively in the field, traveling across regions with short notice.
• Execute any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the department.
• Show managerial effectiveness and support team development.
• Contribute to defining strategies and collaborate with the team to consistently meet monthly business goals.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Commerce, Arts, Science, Biology, Business, Computers, or Management.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
• Experience ranging from 5 to 10 years in relevant fields.
