Associate - Projects (PEB Site Engineer)

Role Summary

As a Site Engineer specializing in PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) erection, you will oversee all aspects of onsite construction activities by managing manpower, scheduling erection sequences, ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, alignment, material handling, and coordination with clients and the site team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee erection of PEB components following approved drawings and method statements.
• Lead and manage the erection crew, including laborers, contractors, and operators of cranes/hydraulic equipment.
• Verify correct alignment, secure bolt tightening, proper placement of members, and maintain quality for sheeting and finishing tasks.
• Collaborate with planning, dispatch, and stores teams to guarantee timely material availability.
• Create daily reports detailing progress, manpower deployment, and outstanding material requirements.
• Enforce safety protocols during lifting operations, working at heights, and erection procedures.
• Act as primary contact for client and site coordination to resolve day-to-day execution challenges.
• Detect inconsistencies between drawings and site conditions and escalate them for technical clarifications.
• Monitor productivity and ensure adherence to the project schedule for activity completion.
• Assist in project handover and closing of punch-list items.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or B.Tech degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering highly preferred.
• Three to five or more years of experience in PEB erection, steel structural works, or industrial shed construction.
