Role Overview
This position entails delivering comprehensive administrative and client service assistance to Relationship Managers who manage Private Banking clients, particularly focusing on Japanese clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer administrative and client-focused support to Relationship Managers dedicated to Private Banking services.
- Address client inquiries and directives efficiently, resolving most requests and issues independently.
- Oversee and monitor client account transactions and activities.
- Assist Relationship Managers in offering financial advisory services.
- Maintain and update client information and relevant reports including contact lists, account details, credit reviews, and facility statuses.
- Manage administrative functions such as scheduling appointments, drafting correspondence, coordinating travel plans, arranging meetings and receptions, and preparing presentation materials.
- Collaborate with Product Groups, Operations, and various departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Comply consistently with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess 3 to 5 years of pertinent experience in client servicing, operations, or sales support within financial institutions.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or diploma from a reputable institution.
- Have a strong grasp of financial products and services.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal, communication, and client engagement abilities.
- Detail-oriented with meticulous organizational skills.
- Demonstrate a forward-thinking mindset, eager to innovate and adapt to change.
- Understand team dynamics well and collaborate effectively across various departments.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting while maintaining empathy, passion, and resilience.
- Preferably hold CACS certification.
- Proficiency in Japanese is mandatory to support the bank’s Japanese clients.
