About the Role
We seek an Assistant Manager/Manager to join our Financial Risk Management team focusing on Corporate Treasury advisory. The role involves delivering advisory services to corporate clients on treasury strategy reviews and implementations, policy formulation, operating model design, cash and liquidity management, hedging strategies, and treasury system selection and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple corporate treasury projects ensuring planning and delivery occur on schedule and within budget.
- Lead and manage teams to produce high-caliber results and develop impactful, tailored solutions.
- Stay updated with latest advancements in corporate treasury practices and technologies.
- Build and nurture strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Assist senior management in identifying new business opportunities and contribute to thought leadership by leveraging your expertise to generate innovative client insights.
Candidate Profile
- In-depth knowledge of corporate treasury functions.
- Technical proficiency in treasury management systems such as KYRIBA, FIS, SAP HANA, and GTreasury, including experience in systems selection and implementation.
- Strong understanding of cash and liquidity management, with hands-on experience in cash flow forecasting and cash pooling methods.
- Expertise in financial modelling and financial risk management practices.
- Comprehensive awareness of treasury product pricing and accounting procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven experience in managing and motivating treasury-related teams.
- Strong competency to translate client requirements into viable business propositions.
- Exposure to business development activities in consulting, including pre-sales, proposal creation, and RFP responses.
- Effective communication skills with client-facing experience.
- Capability to work efficiently under pressure, meeting stringent deadlines and client demands which may require extended hours.
- Exemplary integrity, ethics, and professionalism, leading by example.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of 7 years' work experience in a corporate treasury environment or in a consulting/Big 4 firm.
- Completion of professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or CFA.
- Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative analysis and advanced financial modeling expertise.
- Hands-on experience with treasury and analytical software platforms including Kyriba, FIS, SAP HANA, GTreasury, and ION.
