Role Summary
The Assistant Lounge Manager will ensure efficient operational and managerial oversight of lounge functions during scheduled shifts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role emphasizes maintaining high standards in guest service, safety, and compliance, serving as the primary contact for operational matters and emergencies within assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise shift teams to guarantee effective duty execution and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Maintain presentation and stock levels of food, beverages, and facilities in accordance with company standards.
- Manage administrative responsibilities such as staff scheduling, task distribution, and shift coverage.
- Provide on-site coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
- Conduct team briefings to communicate operational updates, service modifications, and lessons from service recovery.
- Assess team performance and coordinate relevant training and development initiatives.
- Respond to operational incidents and emergencies with appropriate actions to mitigate impact.
- Oversee public areas including security, cleanliness, crowd control, and customer service during shifts.
- Handle guest feedback, inquiries, and complaints with professionalism.
- Coordinate with airport authorities and external stakeholders on operational issues.
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of quality management systems.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management as needed.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in hospitality, catering, or airport operations at supervisory or duty manager level.
- Strong leadership, communication, and guest service capabilities.
- Proactive, responsible, and positive mindset with sound decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic operational environment.
- Fluency in spoken and written English; proficiency in Arabic is a significant advantage.
- Flexibility to work shift schedules as required.
- Job location: Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
