Role Overview

We seek a mid-level Art Director to join our award-winning creative team on a remote contract-to-hire basis. Ideal candidates are conceptual thinkers and hands-on designers passionate about crafting powerful brand narratives through visual storytelling. This role thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced remote setting, focusing on translating complex concepts into clear, compelling designs.

Key Responsibilities

Create exceptional integrated marketing campaigns spanning digital, web, social, presentations, video, email, print, events, and sales enablement materials.
Develop engaging visual stories using typography, layouts, imagery, illustration, and design systems.
Translate intricate ideas into accessible and impactful creative outputs.
Maintain high standards ensuring creativity, craftsmanship, and brand consistency across all deliverables.
Implement creative work consistent with brand guidelines, messaging strategies, and campaign concepts.
Collaborate closely with copywriters to produce cohesive visual and verbal content.
Design responsive web experiences including landing pages, presentations, and campaign collateral enhancing customer engagement.
Adapt visual design systems flexibly across different channels while preserving uniformity.
Engage with agency teams—Strategy, Account Services, Creative, and Production—during project lifecycles.
Contribute actively to creative brainstorming sessions to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Present and articulate creative proposals internally and to clients, explaining design rationale clearly.
Work alongside photographers, illustrators, motion graphic artists, developers, and production partners to guarantee outstanding execution.
Uphold excellence in typography, composition, visual hierarchy, and detail orientation.
Keep abreast of latest design trends, emerging technologies including AI-driven creative tools, and industry best practices.
Assist in advancing creative standards and fostering a culture of design excellence throughout the agency.

Qualifications and Skills

Between 5 to 8 years of professional design experience, ideally within marketing, branding, or advertising agencies.
A robust portfolio showcasing superior visual design, integrated campaign development, and multi-channel execution skills.
Proven ability to design integrated marketing campaigns covering digital, web, social media, presentations, video, and print.
Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma design platforms.
Deep understanding of typography, layout, visual storytelling, and brand identity systems.
Experience with responsive website, landing page, and digital experience design.
Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
Strong organizational skills with the capacity to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
A curious, cooperative attitude and aptitude for quickly learning about new industries.
