Job Overview

This role involves the deployment and management of applications software, providing comprehensive staff support and training, and ensuring compliance with regulations along with data security protocols. The position emphasizes data analysis for operational insights, continuous monitoring of application performance, and protection of patient confidentiality, all aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery through effective IT solutions aligned with clinical operations in a retail healthcare environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in developing new applications or tailoring existing ones to address specific requirements within the retail healthcare sector for assigned software.
• Provide second-level support to end users, resolving software bugs and errors within predefined SLA timelines to satisfy internal customer needs.
• Evaluate end user requirements and aid in designing solutions that optimize processes, promote improved patient care, and increase operational productivity.
• Support the rollout of new software applications or significant updates, ensuring operations continue smoothly with integration compatibility.
• Analyze IT data for reporting and identify process enhancement opportunities or efficiency gaps.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors supporting specialized applications to ensure their effectiveness aligns with user demands.
• Continuously assess application performance to meet the dynamic needs of a high-traffic retail setting, suggesting enhancements as necessary.
• Maintain strict adherence to patient privacy and confidentiality standards across all applications, ensuring data protection compliance.
• Keep updated on technological innovations in IT and pharmacy sectors, exploring emerging solutions such as tele pharmacy, mobile health technologies, and AI-driven tools.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists, healthcare providers, and insurance entities to ensure IT solutions meet business objectives and support efficient healthcare service delivery.

Work Environment

• Fully indoor work (100%) with no outdoor requirements.
• Standard workweek consists of 5 days, with 2 days off.
• Working hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM including a one-hour break.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, preferably specializing in Management Information Systems (MIS) Systems Design or a related discipline.
• More than three years of experience in an IT applications role, ideally within retail or a similar industry.
• Proficiency in retail-specific store applications and broad retail system software.
• Hands-on knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Java, Python, or .NET.
• Experience with database platforms like SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases.
• Familiarity with commonly used ERP and CRM platforms, including SAP, Oracle, and Salesforce.
• Experience using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Knowledge of multiple operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
• Fluency in English and Arabic languages.
