Role Overview
Welthungerhilfe is seeking an Application Manager for CRM Solutions to support the modernization of its CRM environment. The organization is strengthening its digital foundation by improving an existing SAP-based setup and integrating cloud platforms such as Dymatrix DynaCampaign and Pipedrive. This role sits within the Business Solutions team and contributes to a cross-functional CRM project.
The position is based in Bonn or Berlin, Germany, and is available as soon as possible. The initial contract runs for two years, with strong prospects for transitioning to a permanent role after that period.
As an international development and humanitarian organization, Welthungerhilfe works independently of religious and political influence and is focused on building a data-driven, human-centered workplace aligned with the goal of “Zero Hunger on a Healthy Planet.”
What You Will Do
- Take ownership of the day-to-day operation, administration, and ongoing enhancement of the SAP-based donor accounting and CRM platform MFplus, ensuring dependable performance and alignment with business needs.
- Support the continued evolution of the marketing and CRM toolset, including Dymatrix DynaCampaign, Pipedrive, and Inxmail, by helping shape process improvements, enabling new features, and encouraging automation and user adoption.
- Safeguard data quality and stable integrations between CRM, SAP ECC, and connected systems by monitoring interfaces, carrying out maintenance, and resolving issues.
- Work closely with the Domain Data Owner, Process Owner Marketing, and other stakeholders to review CRM-related processes in donor management, campaign management, and relationship management, and identify opportunities to streamline and automate them.
- Serve as the main point of contact between business users, project teams, external vendors, and service providers, translating operational needs into system changes and ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Coordinate external support partners, oversee service standards and system performance, and manage maintenance windows and release rollouts.
- Keep system records up to date, create user documentation and guides, and support training and knowledge transfer for key users and end users.
Your Background
- You hold a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Marketing, or an equivalent qualification.
- You have 1 to 3 years of experience in application management, CRM administration, or process support, preferably in a non-profit or service-focused setting.
- You have worked with CRM or campaign management platforms such as DynaCampaign, MFplus, Pipedrive, or SAP.
- You understand donor management, fundraising, or campaign management processes, which would be an advantage.
- You are able to convert business needs into system requirements and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You work in a proactive, analytical, and well-structured way, and you enjoy coordinating across teams and external partners while driving ideas and improvements through to implementation.
- You are eager to deepen your CRM expertise, particularly in DynaCampaign, and to become a subject matter expert for the legacy system MFPlus.
- You speak and write German and English fluently and can engage confidently with users, stakeholders, and external partners in both languages.
What the Organization Offers
- Transparent and fair pay aligned with a clear salary framework.
- Flexible working arrangements that support a healthy work-life balance.
- A modern, agile environment that strongly supports digitalization and innovation.
- Learning and development opportunities to support both personal and professional growth.
- A committed and diverse team culture built around expertise, motivation, and collaboration.
