Role Overview

The Admissions Director will oversee the referral intake, admissions, and follow-up processes at Aventura Health, located at 1800 NE 168 ST., North Miami Beach, FL. This position involves managing admissions to meet and exceed monthly activity and census goals, as well as developing referral sources outside the hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the referral intake and admissions workflow, ensuring efficient processing and follow-up.
• Lead initiatives for pre-admission, admission procedures, and census growth to achieve targeted monthly activity and budget census levels.
• Maintain favorable occupancy rates, Medicare census figures, conversion rates, and account receivable goals through consistent monitoring and strategy implementation.

Qualifications

• At least one year of full-time experience specifically in long term care admissions management.
• Possession of a college degree is preferred; equivalent professional experience is also acceptable.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements relevant to admissions is required.
